Maybe you’re headed to Kona for a much-deserved Hawaiian vacation, or perhaps you’re visiting friends or family or even looking for a home of your own. Who doesn’t dream of living in a tropical paradise – or at least having a vacation home to spend time whenever you want to get away? If you’re a water lover and plan to spend time in Kona, you’ll find there’s more to do than you could even imagine.

Many of the best beaches are an easy walk from downtown Kailua-Kona, including Honl’s Beach, Magic Sands Beach (aka Disappearing Sands Beach), and Pahoehoe Beach Park. If you’re looking for a place your whole family will love, you might want to take a short drive to Kahalu’u Beach Park where you’ll find great swimming, awesome snorkeling and on occasion, good surfing conditions.

Where better to learn a new water sport than on the Big Island? From stand up paddleboarding to boogie boarding, you’ll find a perfect spot if you’re a beginner and want to practice or you’ve advanced and prefer some good waves. Ask any locals where the quiet bays are, and they’ll be happy to direct you to the perfect spot!

If your passion is fishing, you’ll find some of the best in the world right here. Kona is known all around the world for its sport fishing. Bring your gear and have the time of your life.

Love nothing better than a thrilling adventure? How about taking in all of the sights along the Kona coast while parasailing? There’s nothing like floating through the air above the ocean attached to a parachute that’s pulled by a motor boat. Super fun and exciting.

Of course there are plenty of scuba diving opportunities, but what if you want to enjoy the undersea world without getting wet? You might want to consider a an Atlantis Submarine tour, 30 to 45 minutes of awesomeness as you go to depths of 100 feet while taking in the beautiful marine life, natural coral reef and all of the splendor of Kona that you don’t see above water!

Whether you’re a water lover or not, you’ll never have a dull moment in Kona. We hope you enjoy the most memorable vacation ever, or if you’re interested in a Big Island luxury estate, home, condo or other property, be sure to give us a call!
