A recent news article at the Hawaii Tribune-Herald revealed that when it comes to real estate, the Big Island is THE place to be. Data collected by Hawaii Information Services showed that through the end of November, sales had increased more than 7 percent for the entire island over home sales in 2014.
Outside of the luxury real estate market, Puna had the most sales this year with nearly 600 home sales; following Puna was North Kona, with more than 400 homes sold.
